This digital edition of Terra Madre is a great opportunity to strengthen the capacities of our network in these incredibly challenging times.
Over the last few months we have received multiple calls to improve our skills as a grassroots civil society organization, to distinguish ourselves better in an increasingly competitive environment.
In the second half of Terra Madre we are planning more training sessions dedicated to our leaders and communities. This session will be dedicated to those who wish to learn more about how to build a successful advocacy campaign.
You’ll have the chance to improve your skills by listening and interacting with selected trainers with years of practical experience in their fields.
Jorrit Kiewik, Executive Director of the Slow Food Youth Network and Ottavia Pieretto, from the Italian Slow Food Youth Network, will guide us through principles of the development of a successful advocacy campaign on an international and national level, by providing concrete examples of successes and challenges.
You will come away with:
- An understanding of the main steps to follow to build a campaign
- How to define the main goal of the campaign, define your target, engage the public
- A communication strategy you can develop to reach your goals
- Examples from our network
