The Paloma cocktail is the most common-consumed in Mexico, and it’s made mixing tequila, ice, lime juice and grapefruit soda: refreshing even in winter!
The Paloma cocktail takes its roots in Mexico, home of the tequila and all the agave spirits. The cocktail is said to be invented by Don Javier Delgado Corona. He is the owner of the legendary cocktail bar La Capilla, based in Tequila, in the Jalisco state.
Watch here the realization of the cocktail made by Jesse Estes, Global Ambassador of Tequila Ocho. It is simple: first, you have to cover the edge of a highball glass with salt; pour Tequila Ocho and lime juice. Stir, add ice and top up with East Imperial Grapefruit Soda. You can garnish with a lime wedge or if you prefer with a spring of mint. The cocktail is ready.
