A series of virtual tours and visit to discover virtous farmers in the Netherlands.
The online series ‘Slow Food on Tour’ highlights Slow Food producers in the Netherlands. Jeroen van Nijnatten, chef of the Dutch Slow Food Cooks’ Alliance, and Anne Luz Pijnenburg, food waste warrior and chairwoman of SFYN Amsterdam, visit Theo Warmerdam, farmer and cheesemaker, at his farm called ‘De Sophiahoeve’ in Warmond. Theo will guide Jeroen and Anne Luz over his farm while explaining about a very special Dutch cheese: the traditional Boeren Leyden that is a Slow Food Presidium.
This is the first episode in a series of five. In the upcoming months, the online stage will be given to other Dutch Slow Food producers.
