Slow Food Dolny Slask and the members of the group of Chwastozercy will promote knowledge about foraged food, ancient uncultivated plants and other resources beyond agriculture and gardening formula.
Especially nowadays, the interest for so called wild edibles is growing very fast. People’s wish is to be more independent of the regular food system. The knowledge of uncultivated food meets the loss of relationship with nature and Mother Eaeth, along with social and family liasons. Therefore, with strong contribution of our members, we want to stress the urgent need of increasing this conciousness what was once food, but is not one nowadays, in terms of regulations and agriculture industry. The series of events will be held in a few different places to underline the geographical formula of this edition of Terra Madre Salone del Gusto: mountains, lowlands, water adjacent and urban areas.
This seventh chapter will show how plants are used in the art of pottery. The presentation will be provided in a pottery art workshop.
