Slow Food on Air is a radio program to educated farmers about resilient sustainable agriculture.
Every Wednesday, from September to December, 40 farmers will join the program to learn more about traditional farming systems and environmentally-friendly innovations to protect the biodiversity of our food system. The objective is to enhance small farmers’ ability to preserve their culture, traditions and seeds genetic diversity and to increase their production without harming the environment and its biodiversity. A recognition certificate together with other benefits provided by the local Government will be awarded at the the end of the program to the 40 farmers. People from all over the country are also invited to listen to the radio broadcast and interact via Facebook.
