Have you ever thought of recycle an object and giving it a new and completely different life? Has it ever occurred to you, for example, to make a blackboard bottle?
Recycling means creating new objects and it can be both creative and sustainable. Lucy Fenech shows us how to make a blackboard bottle, founder of a creative workshop whose mission is to invert design processes. Rather than designing products and the choosing the materials, they begin from the materials we throw out and create something new from them.
The object today has a long story, one that marked a turning point in the design history of San Bernardo. In 1994 Giorgetto Giugiaro designed the “droplets” bottle in glass, which has 88 droplets embossed. The restyling of the bottle came 15 years later, and confirms the partnership with Giorgetto Giugiaro who, in 2009, designed new bottles in recyclable PET plastic.
With a bottle of San Bernardo, a chalkboard paint tin, pens and gloves, you can do create your own.
