Slow Food is organizing on March 5-6, 2021 a training meeting dedicated to the operators of the new itineraries created within the project “Slow Food in Action, communities protagonists of change”.
The training event will take place online on the Zoom platform and will be led by trainers who are experts in interpersonal relations, community management and destination marketing. The experts will use inductive and deductive techniques on four modules with the aim of introducing in a participatory way new elements to the guidelines of Slow Food Travel, which represents an increasingly central project for Slow Food. Talking about Slow Food Travel also means addressing issues such as safeguarding biodiversity, defending local communities and cultures, and combating the climate crisis.
The results of the training – which analyze the situation of the tourism market, the methodology of the specific project and the work protocol – will be disclosed on March 7 in an event open to the public, live streaming on Youtube and on the Terra Madre homepage.
