Terra Madre transformed
The new edition of Terra Madre is longer, wider and more diverse than ever, with a variety of innovative formats both online and offline, all spread over a six month period from October 2020 to April 2021. You can meet, eat with and learn from Slow Food communities in 160 countries around the world!
From the network to the world
Browsing through the events in the program, there is a distinction between two main categories: Digital & World. Digital includes all our online activities, with a number of different formats, some inspired by tried-and-tested formulas, others that are completely new. World refers to all the physical events organized by our network globally, which will light up across an interactive map.
Conferences, Forums, Food Talks, the Relay on October 10, How It’s Made and more. There are lots of ways for you to to discuss, explore and taste the world of Slow Food!
From Taste Workshops to Dinner Dates and the numerous local events organized in Turin and around the world by the Slow Food network.
New formats: a thousand visions of the future of food
Terra Madre Salone del Gusto has always been a mosaic, where thousands of voices intersect and unite to draw up our roles and responsibilities for our food, our planet and our future.

New formats: taste experiences
Among the gastronomic formats at Terra Madre Salone del Gusto, there are two timless classics: the Taste Workshops and the Dinner Dates, tried-and-tested formulas which have been revamped for 2020.
New for 2020, we present How It’s Made: activities where you’ll discover new skills and techniques, expand your understanding and be able to reproduce the recipes presented by our guests in your own home.
