Garfagnana food and agrobiodiversity Community – Social development association is fully committed to enhancement and promotion of local agrobiodiversity as tangible and intangible heritage of agricultural breeds and varieties, traditions, knowledge and flavors; generation by generation all these things have shaped the landscape and culture of people.
Garfagnana food and agrobiodiversity Community as open, transparent, ethical and cultural movement acts to improve the quality of local life, to encourage solidarity economy, respecting ecosystems and natural balances, history and vocation of places.
A new food system based on the principles below can start new production organization model but even social and environmental model able to develop harmony wellness and future for the new generation.

Genuine and quality local food, at a fair price for producers and consumers, obtained through sustainable agricultural practices.

environment, animal welfare, natural resources, landscape, native varieties and breeds, local agricultural and livestock traditions.
Direct markets and short supply chains:
Direct circuits, from farm to fork, to support small producers, consumers, the conservation of biodiversity and general speaking in favour of local economy.
