Bbbell SpA

Sponsor

BBBell, a Northern Italian company specialised in broad band services and wireless telecommunications in Piedmont and Liguria, will once again be a Gold Partner at the 2020 edition of Terra Madre Salone del Gusto, one of the most important and culturally significant wine and food fairs worldwide and completely renewed this year.

BBBell has renewed its partnership with the exhibition for the fourth consecutive year, benefitting from the co-operation with Slow Food since 2008, in the “phygital” edition of Terra Madre Salone del Gusto. The BBBell and Slow Food synergy strengthens year by year, springing from a strong communion of purpose and the primary aim of valorising excellences and specific items of individual areas, at all latitudes. To do all this, it is now essential to be able to guarantee internet connectivity at 360°, for a truly inclusive digital revolution that involves all the bodies in a region, from large cities to the municipalities of inner areas, which BBBell has always seen as being of most interest and the priority.

Following the pandemic the world has had to face, the need to connect regions has greatly accelerated and BBBell has been involved in this change. As a result of significant investments made on infrastructure and technology, BBBell can bring wireless internet connectivity up to 1 GB  even to the most inland, mountainous areas of Piedmont and Liguria where traditional operators don’t reach, in addition to ultra-broadband with fibre throughout Italy.

For the 2020 edition of Terra Madre Salone del Gusto, BBBell immediately seized the opportunity and potential of the show, making the most advanced cloud technologies available and thus guaranteeing the creation of a large-scale event – diffuse on the web, through the use of sophisticated digital systems, and diffuse on the ground, through various types of events and formats that can bring people together without putting health at risk.

BBBell has made a Cloud infrastructure available to the organisers which enables them to work in total safety, with Slow Food IT staff accessing applications and databases from anywhere and at any time in addition to making back-ups securely, simply and intuitively. The integrated solution offered has very high quality standards that BBBell guarantees in terms of Internet band and assistance.
